Dr. Narayanan Runs Marathon for Rare Disease

Dr. Narayanan Runs Marathon for Rare Disease For the more than 30 million Americans living with a rare disorder, their quest to find a diagnosis can seem like a marathon: Patients spend an average of seven years searching for an accurate diagnosis, during which time they may visit an average of eight specialists and will be misdiagnosed up to three times.

In honor of these patients, Dr. Vinodh Narayanan, Medical Director of TGen's Center for Rare Childhood Disorders and Professor of Neurogenomics, will be running the 2018 Rock N Roll Arizona Marathon on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona. The marathon is a 26.2-mile feat of endurance that traverses landmarks in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe.

You can support Dr. N's long run by making a donation to the Center for Rare Childhood Disorders in his honor. ALL DONATIONS WILL BE DOUBLED through Anton's Challenge! Please join us in cheering Dr. N. as he takes on this exciting challenge in honor of his patients!
