Keith Borchart, 70, of Scottsdale AZ passed away on September 2nd at Sherman Home Hospice, surrounded by his family and close friends. Keith was born on April 13, 1941 in Iowa City, IA. Keith is survived by his loving wife of 47 yrs, Jan, his sister Barbara Powell of Virginia, two daughters, Tracy Peterson (Steve), Heidi Ongbongan (Kris) and was affectionately known as 'Vava' by his beloved grandchild, Joshua, and 'Ampa' by his beloved grandchildren, Max, Maggie, and Harry. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Dorothy Borchart, his daughter Kerry Borchart; father-in-law, Jac Breese and close family friend Shaun O'Neill. He leaves a legacy of love, kindness, courage, and faith that he inspired in everyone he touched.
Our family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley-Sherman Home, the Genesis Church, and all the friends and family who have supported Keith and his family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Keith's name has been established at the TGen Foundation to support Parkinson's disease research.
