Michael Jay Replogle (6/5/56 - 8/11/14) of Phoenix, AZ was the beloved husband of Linda Replogle, father of Anne (fiance Michael Stevens), Joseph, and John Replogle, son of Harold and Ethel Replogle, and brother of Debbie (Mark) Kennedy, Jeanne (Frank) Baldassarre, and Sherri (Kevin) Mack and uncle of 22 nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Spokane, WA, he moved to Phoenix in 1984. Spending his mornings on Shaw Butte Mountain and evenings on Piestewa Peak, Mike was an avid hiker. He was an active member of the Moon Valley community and a devoted Catholic whose faith led him to serve others. Above all, Mike was a fiercely loyal friend and brought compassion and warmth to those around him. The impact of his energy, tenacity, and love will reverberate in his family and community.

Mike was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 1999. He had a nephrectomy and was then considered cancer free until his diagnosis of metastatic kidney cancer in 2008. Throughout the next six years, Mike continued to hike and enjoy his life with friends and family. Promising cancer research helped Mike remain optimistic and upbeat. The development of new drugs improved Mike's quality of life and offered him both control and options over his treatment.

In his name, his family would like to continue to support the efforts of those involved in research.
