PHOENIX, Ariz. — April 5, 2021 — Starting today, participating Wendy’s® restaurants will begin their annual fundraiser by selling Jr. Frosty® coupon sheets for a $1 donation, with all proceeds supporting colon cancer research at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), an affiliate of City of Hope.
From today through May 30, you can put the freeze on cancer by purchasing a Jr. Frosty coupon sheet at over 180 Wendy’s locations in 10 states, including more than 60 in Arizona, while supplies last. Each Jr. Frosty coupon sheet contains coupons for 5 free Jr. Frosty treats.
The fundraiser was established in 2007 by Wendy’s franchisee owners, Rick Holland and John Peters who are proud supporters of TGen. To date, the promotion has raised more than $1.4 million.
“Colon cancer affects the health and lives of too many, including the patient’s entire network of friends and family,” said Rick Holland, “and that is why it is rewarding to see our generous and caring customers come together in support of this promotion. The funds they help us raise directly support advances and breakthroughs against this deadly disease.”
