Technology TransferTGen’s Technology Transfer Office (TTO) plays a strategic role in the commercialization of TGen's scientific discoveries for the benefit of human health.
TTO accomplishes its goals by:
- Identifying, patenting and licensing new technology.
- Facilitating access and exchange of research materials, technologies, and data via material transfer agreements (MTAs) or confidential disclosure agreements (CDAs).
- Negotiating collaborative research agreements.
- Assisting in the formation of start-up companies when appropriate.
To fully maximize the potential of TGen's translational research program, TTO staff constantly seek new partnerships and alliances across the biomedical and pharmaceutical industries. These partnerships help provide a critical path from basic discovery to clinical application.
