TGen Glioblastoma Research
John S. McCain III Endowed Professorship in Brain Cancer Research
Glioblastoma (GBM) is one of the deadliest of all cancers. GBM is an aggressive, dispersive, and disruptive cancer in the brain, that fragile yet critical organ that gives rise to one’s personality, self-identity, function, and action.
Of all cancers, successful treatment of glioblastoma (GBM) requires exquisite precision to preserve the healthy brain while targeting the cancerous cells. TGen’s research program on GBM leverages comprehensive molecular profiling (genomic sequencing) of the tumor to identify new therapies that invigorate the patient’s immune system, that exploit unique misbehaving molecules, and that seek to control the spread of the disease.
In partnership with City of Hope and other leading clinical programs around the world, TGen’s pursuit of precision medicine offers hope to patients today. With your support we can remain at the forefront of progress aimed at transforming the care for patients with glioblastoma.
